| The Belmont is an imposing
former Victorian gentleman's residence, known for our warm welcome,
friendly efficient service, and relaxing atmosphere. Standing in
mature grounds, The Belmont offers superior accommodation in elegant
surroundings, ideally located a short stroll to the picturesque
thatched Old Village, wooded Shanklin Chine, beach and town centre.
We offer thirteen well-furnished bedrooms, including
premier and superior rooms (twin, king-sized or four-poster beds),
ground floor rooms and a 4 poster suite. All are en-suite, with
free-view television, direct dial telephone, clock radio, hairdryer,
toiletries and hospitality tray, and most have sea or garden views.
Start your day with a hearty English or Continental
breakfast looking onto the garden from the elegant dining room.
Settle down in the morning sun on the colonial-style veranda that
spans the front of the house. Relax all day in our secluded sun-trap
garden and take a dip in our outdoor pool (heated seasonally).
